Meet The Artist:
Growing up in Honduras, Balam followed his passion to create art despite being discouraged at every turn until one day he found himself as an apprentice in a tattoo shop; the rest is history. From tattooing in the Bay Islands to arriving in the States, his craft has refined to the unique style he now offers.
Balam specializes in ornamental, geometric and blackwork tattoos large scale and small. Balam takes inspiration from sacred geometry, nature, fractals and more to create custom pieces that flow with the form of the body.
In Jan 2025, in collaboration with his wife, Megan, Balam opened his private studio, Symbiosis Tattoos in Johnson City, TN!
